Eldest daughter gets married

I've just arrived back from 3 weeks in Sydney, Australia. Attending the most awesome wedding of my life, my darling daughters!

Anya & David got married on April 12th, chinaman's beach and I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

My darling Daughter gets married!

Well, Anya has done it! Got married...

We had a 3.00 am party, and the bride's mother wore... pyjamas!
(as did all our party) We got up at 2.30 am, joined by Anya's godmother, and Auntie, and got set up with Skype, all excited. As David & Anya got it set up, we glimpsed the bride & groom, and they glimpsed us! Then the web cam died and we sat chatting for a few moments, until the phone call came.."I did it! I'm married!"

So we popped open the champagne, and the party started, until we made our way back to bed.

This is only the 'registration' bit, as the beach/rainbowdress/wings/armor (yes, it gets crazier by the day!) bit will follow in April. Congratulations, you two!

My turn... I'm off!

No time to go into details, but off in 10 hours, to see my beautiful daughter!

Just let my butterfly go...

You know that old saying 'If you really love something, you must let it go'? Anya, my beautiful butterfly of a daughter has fluttered off into the breeze, and I'm left with my hand, heart, and mouth open, breathless to see if she flys.
I know it's only love that can let go like this, but I am perceived as heartless in wanting to see her fly by those who do not understand.
